I create artwork to show people a glimpse at my life and my experiences. I am interested in creating art because I enjoy the challenge of conveying my thoughts into sculptural objects. As part of my creative process I find inspiration in everyday experiences. I then internalize these experiences into something larger. With these thoughts I either sketch out my desired sculpture or I choose to take a more automatic approach. This entails investigating with materials and trying to fill in the missing pieces to make the art object come together as a whole. By Being a very hands-on person I am always testing materials to their limits and use materials in new ways. I believe that the artwork I make should be interesting, accessible, and evoke reaction.
